Azerbaijan, Turkic-speaking countries discuss joint investment opportunities

Azerbaijan has discussed joint investment opportunities with member states of the Organisation of Turkic States.

Discussions were held at the session “five states one diaspora with the Organisation of Turkic States” in Istanbul as part of the opening ceremony of the 10th World Turkish Business Council Congress, Report informs, citing the Azerbaijani Economy Ministry.

Officials of the member states of the Organisation of Turkic States, representatives of business circles and international organisations attended the event. The issues of economic cooperation and expansion of partnerships between diaspora organisations of the member states of the Organisation of Turkic States were discussed.

Azerbaijani First Deputy Minister of Economy Elnur Aliyev spoke about the favourable business climate in Azerbaijan, the development of the private sector, the economic potential of the territories liberated from occupation, and opportunities for expanding economic cooperation within the Organisation of Turkic States.
