Azerbaijan, Türkiye sign new rail cooperation agreement PHOTO
Azerbaijan and Türkiye have signed a new memorandum aimed at deepening cooperation in the railway sector.
The agreement was concluded between Azerbaijan Railways (ADY), part of AZCON Holding, and Türkiye’s State Railways (TCDD), Caliber.Az reports, citing ADY’s press office.
The memorandum of understanding was signed by ADY chairman Rovshan Rustamov and TCDD’s chairman and chief executive Veysi Kurt.
Officials said the deal is intended to strengthen the partnership between the two rail operators and expand cooperation across a range of areas.
Under the agreement, the two sides will work together on infrastructure development, traffic management, the introduction of joint innovative solutions, staff training and data exchange.
