Azerbaijan, Türkiye strengthen trade ties with new agreement
The Azerbaijani Centre for Analysis of Economic Reforms and Communication, which operates Azexport website, has announced that Azexport and Türkiye’s Tradexter Global signed a memorandum of understanding.
The document was signed during the visit of Azexport's head Ayhan Gadashov to Istanbul, Türkiye, Caliber.Az reports via local media.
The memorandum outlines cooperation between the two sides in promoting Azerbaijani-made products in the Turkish market.
Azexport.az website was established upon President Ilham Aliyev's Order "On the Establishment of a Single Database of Goods Produced in the Republic of Azerbaijan," dated September 21, 2016.
The website facilitated the creation of a unified database of Azerbaijani-made goods, enabling local businesses to promote their products in over 150 countries worldwide. Azexport supports the promotion of competitive, export-oriented products under the "Made in Azerbaijan" brand in international markets. It renders essential services such as transport, logistics, payment solutions, and certification to exporters, enhancing the country's business environment.
The integration of Azexport with over 15 global platforms, including Amazon.com, Alibaba.com, all.biz, and Go4worldbusiness.com, has significantly increased the global visibility of Azerbaijani products and expanded their market reach.
