Azerbaijan, Turkmenistan discuss diversifying business cooperation
Azerbaijan and Turkmenistan have discussed diversifying business partnerships and advancing joint initiatives, while also exploring ways to strengthen regional trade and economic cooperation, Azerbaijani Minister of Economy Mikayil Jabbarov has said after meeting Turkmen leader Serdar Berdimuhamedov in Turkmenistan.
Jabbarov, who shared details of the meeting on X, noted relations of friendship and brotherhood linking the leaders of the two countries, as well as President Serdar Berdimuhamedov's visit to Azerbaijan, as one of the factors further strengthening ties between the nations, Caliber.Az reports.

"We emphasized that the close friendship between our Heads of State, together with President Berdimuhamedov's recent visit to Azerbaijan, has given new impetus to the development of relations between our countries.," he added.
The Azerbaijani delegation is in Turkmenistan to participate in the ninth meeting of the Joint Intergovernmental Commission between the two countries.
