Azerbaijan, UAE forge strategic partnership through joint Business Council
Azerbaijan and the United Arab Emirates have formally established a Joint Business Council aimed at fostering the development and execution of collaborative projects between the two nations.
Azerbaijan’s Agency for the Development of Small and Medium Business (KOBİA) described the initiative as a significant step towards deepening bilateral economic ties, Caliber.Az reports via local media.
As part of this collaboration, KOBİA and the Federation of UAE Chambers of Commerce and Industry have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU), laying the groundwork for enhanced cooperation.
The newly formed platform will prioritize organizing a diverse range of events designed to facilitate knowledge exchange, identify mutual investment opportunities, and drive the implementation of joint ventures. Additionally, the council aims to bolster export-import activities, thereby strengthening trade relations.
Leadership of the council will be shared between co-chairs from both Azerbaijan and the UAE, with membership comprising enterprises spanning multiple economic sectors.
