Azerbaijan, UK sign cooperation agreement

Azerbaijan and the United Kingdom have inked the minutes of a meeting of the Joint Commission on Economic Cooperation between the Government of Azerbaijan and the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland.

Azerbaijan’s Energy Minister Parviz Shahbazov and UK Parliamentary Under Secretary of State, Minister for Exports Lord Malcolm Offord signed the minutes, Trend reports.

The 6^th meeting of the Joint Commission on Economic Cooperation between the Government of the Republic of Azerbaijan and the Government of the UK and Northern Ireland has today kicked off in Baku.

The meeting will feature discussions on cooperation between the two countries in business, energy transition, healthcare, infrastructure, information and communication technologies, cyber security, digital economy, and other areas.

The commission is co-chaired by Azerbaijan’s Energy Minister Parviz Shahbazov and UK Parliamentary Under Secretary of State, Minister for Exports Lord Malcolm Offord.
