Azerbaijan unveils top five countries importing its non-oil products during first 11 months of 2024
Russia ranked first in purchasing non-oil products from Azerbaijan during the period from January to November 2024.
In the first 11 months of 2024, Azerbaijan exported non-oil products worth $1.07 billion to Russia, marking a 6.3 per cent increase compared to the same period last year, Caliber.Az reports, citing the monthly Export Review of the Azerbaijani Centre for Analysis of Economic Reforms and Communication.
Türkiye ranked second in importing non-oil products from Azerbaijan, with exports decreasing by 30.4 per cent to $507.1 million during the same period.
Georgia ranks third in importing non-oil products from Azerbaijan, with a total of $252.9 million (a 15.7 per cent decrease). Switzerland and the US hold the fourth and fifth positions, with export volumes of $193.6 million (a 25.2 per cent increase) and $129.6 million (a twelve-fold growth), respectively.
In November 2024, Azerbaijan's non-oil export breakdown to the top five countries is as follows: exports to Russia amounted to $111.2 million (a 9.2 per cent decline compared to November 2023), to Switzerland $30.1 million (a 1.8-fold decrease), to Türkiye $24.7 million (a 2.4 per cent drop), to Georgia $18.9 million (a 1.8-fold decline), and to Ukraine $15.2 million (a 1.7-fold increase).
