Azerbaijan, US boost cooperation on digital transformation, transport

Azerbaijan and the United States have held talks on potential cooperation in the areas of digital transformation and transport, Azerbaijan’s Ministry of Digital Development and Transport has stated.

It said the two sides ­­– Rashad Nabiyev, Azerbaijani Minister of Digital Development and Transport and a US delegation led by Caleb Orr – discussed the expansion of regulatory frameworks related to artificial intelligence and cybersecurity, as well as collaboration with US government bodies and companies on the construction of a data centre in Azerbaijan, Caliber.Az reports.

The talks also addressed broader regional transport initiatives, including the expansion of the Middle Corridor and the development of the Zangezur Corridor, alongside the potential participation of US companies in these projects.
