Azerbaijan, US explore expanded cooperation in energy, business sectors

Azerbaijan’s Minister of Economy Mikayil Jabbarov held a video conference with Caleb Orr, Assistant Secretary of State for Economic, Energy, and Business Affairs of the United States, to discuss expanding cooperation in the fields of energy and business.

Writing on X, Jabbarov highlighted that during the video conference, key aspects of the economic partnership between Azerbaijan and the United States were discussed, with both sides emphasising the strategic importance of cooperation in the energy and business sectors, Caliber.Az reports.

“We exchanged views on energy projects implemented in the South Caucasus and the Caspian region, gas transportation initiatives, and opportunities to further diversify joint activities in this field,” the minister wrote.
