Azerbaijan–US trade falls 11.2% in 2025 to $1.56 billion

Trade turnover between Azerbaijan and the United States totaled $1.56 billion in 2025, marking an 11.2% decline compared with the previous year, according to data released by Azerbaijan’s State Customs Committee.

Official statistics show that Azerbaijani exports to the United States fell sharply, dropping 2.2 times year-on-year to $61.77 million. Exports to the U.S. accounted for 0.25% of Azerbaijan’s total exports in 2025, down from 0.51% in 2024, Caliber.Az reports. 

Imports from the United States also declined, though at a more moderate pace. The volume of U.S. goods imported into Azerbaijan decreased by 7.6% to $1.49 billion. The share of U.S. imports in Azerbaijan’s total imports stood at 6.13% in 2025, compared with 7.68% the previous year.
