Azerbaijan–US trade more than doubles in early 2026
Bilateral trade between Azerbaijan and the United States surged in the first quarter of 2026, reaching $296.3 million, according to data from Azerbaijan’s State Customs Committee.
The figure represents a 2.2-fold increase compared with the same period in 2025, Caliber.Az reports, citing official statistics.
Exports of Azerbaijani goods to the United States rose by 41.7% year-on-year to $22.3 million in January–March 2026. The share of exports in Azerbaijan’s overall trade structure with the U.S. increased to 0.41%, up from 0.25% a year earlier.
Imports from the United States grew more sharply, increasing 2.3 times to $274 million over the same period. The share of imports in total trade rose to 6.84%, compared with 2.08% in the first quarter of 2025.
