Azerbaijan, Uzbekistan discuss cyber-threat management scenarios

Azerbaijan and Uzbekistan have held talks on strengthening cooperation in cybersecurity, with a focus on how financial institutions respond to cyber threats.

Akif Bagirov, adviser to the bank’s chairman, and Elnur Eyvazli, director of the information and cybersecurity department, met with a delegation from the Cybersecurity Centre of the Central Bank of Uzbekistan, Caliber.Az reports via Azerbaijan’s Central Bank.

During the meeting, the sides exchanged views on improving legal and regulatory frameworks for cybersecurity, shared experience related to FINCERT operations, and discussed various scenarios for managing cyber threats.
