Azerbaijan, Uzbekistan strike gold mining partnership agreement
A series of bilateral agreements have been signed between Azerbaijan and Uzbekistan in Tashkent, with the participation of Prime Ministers Ali Asadov and Abdulla Aripov.
The deals span a range of strategic sectors, including the joint development of a gold deposit in Uzbekistan with the involvement of AzerGold CJSC, Caliber.Az reports via local media.
They also provide for cooperation in the banking sector between the International Bank of Azerbaijan and an Uzbek financial institution, alongside plans for the joint development of major mineral deposits in Uzbekistan involving NEQSOL Holding.
Ali Asadov is currently on a working visit to Uzbekistan at the invitation of the Uzbek side to take part in the 5th Tashkent International Investment Forum.
