Azerbaijan, Vietnam explore joint electric vehicle production PHOTO

Azerbaijan and Vietnam are considering collaboration on electric vehicle manufacturing, Azerbaijani Economy Minister Mikayil Jabbarov has said.

Jabbarov met with Le Thi Thu Thuy, chairwoman of a Vietnamese company, to discuss ways to diversify economic ties between the two countries.

Speaking on X, the minister wrote: “We exchanged views on cooperation with business circles, focusing on the diversification of economic relations with Vietnam, our sustainable development priorities, and the favourable business environment in Azerbaijan. We also explored potential joint activity in the production of electric vehicles.”
