Azerbaijan, World Bank review cooperation priorities
The Central Bank of Azerbaijan (CBA) has held talks with the World Bank on key areas of bilateral cooperation, including the implementation of the Country Partnership Framework for 2025–2029.
The discussions took place during a business visit to Uzbekistan by a delegation led by CBA First Deputy Chairman Aliyar Mammadyarov, Caliber.Az reports per local media.
As part of the visit, the delegation met with Antonella Bassani, Vice President of the Europe and Central Asia Region at the World Bank.
The sides reviewed the current state of cooperation between Azerbaijan and the World Bank, discussed priority areas under the Country Partnership Framework for 2025–2029, and assessed the progress of projects being implemented within the framework.
The meeting also featured an exchange of views on other issues of mutual interest and explored prospects for expanding bilateral cooperation.
