Azerbaijani ambassador, Pakistani minister discuss enhancing economic partnership
Azerbaijani Ambassador to Pakistan Khazar Farhadov has met with Pakistani Minister for Planning, Development, and Reform Ahsan Iqbal to discuss the enhancement of their economic partnership.
Both parties highlighted the robust fraternal ties between Pakistan and Azerbaijan, Caliber.Az reports citing the local media.
During the meeting, the parties discussed mutual cooperation and shared views on enhancing the economic partnership between the two countries.
Additionally, a trilateral meeting was held among President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev, Prime Minister of Pakistan Shehbaz Sharif, and President of Türkiye Recep Tayyip Erdogan on the sidelines of the 24th meeting of the Council of Heads of State of the Shanghai Cooperation Organisation (SCO) in Astana on July 3.
They exchanged views on the prospects for developing trade and economic ties in a trilateral format, aligning with the spirit of political ties among the countries, and discussed cooperation in innovations, energy, agriculture, humanitarian efforts, and other areas.
This gathering underscored the deepening political and economic ties among the three nations, reflecting their shared interests and collaborative efforts within the SCO framework.
