Azerbaijani, Austrian energy regulators discuss areas of cooperation

The Energy Regulatory Agency (AERA) under the Ministry of Energy and the Austrian Energy Regulatory Agency (E-Control) have held talks to identify areas of cooperation under a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU), signed between the two organizations.

The negotiations took place at a meeting of AERA Board Chairman Samir Akhundov with the participation of E-Control Executive Director Executive Director of E-Control, Wolfgang Urbantschitsch, as well as other representatives of both structures.

At the meeting, information was provided on the activities of the energy regulatory authorities of both countries, and the measures taken in the field of energy regulation were brought to the attention of the participants.
