Azerbaijani bankers explore AI and digital innovations in UK visit PHOTO
The banking sectors of Azerbaijan and the UK have engaged in discussions on the application of artificial intelligence (AI) in the financial industry.
expert groups under the ABA travelled to London as part of a collaboration with the British Embassy in Azerbaijan, Caliber.Az reports, citing the Association of Banks of Azerbaijan (ABA).
The purpose of the visit was to explore the use of AI within the financial sphere.
During their time in London, the Azerbaijani delegation held meetings with representatives from both public and private financial institutions in the UK.
One key area of focus was the potential application of AI, as well as the legislative framework surrounding this technology. They also discussed reforms related to the issuance of a single cryptocurrency and the emerging challenges in the sector.
In addition, the delegation met with representatives of Starlink Bank, one of the leading digital banks globally, where they exchanged insights on digital products, services, and technical infrastructure.
The visit also included discussions with companies such as Level39, Entrust, EY, and other fintech firms, with the aim of examining the future of digital banking and the integration of innovative technologies in the financial landscape.
