Azerbaijani, Belgian businessmen discuss broader cooperation PHOTO
Azerbaijani and Belgian businessmen have met in Baku to discuss cooperation opportunities.
The meeting was held under the joint organisation of the Azerbaijan Export and Investment Promotion Foundation (AZPROMO), the Belgium-based Wallonia Export & Investment Agency (AWEX) and Flanders Investment and Trade (FIT), Report informs, citing AZPROMO.
From the Belgian side, the meeting was attended by businessmen engaged in the health, energy and transport spheres, as well as the chemical industry, trade, investment and agriculture sectors.
AZPROMO Chairman Yusif Abdullayev informed of the favourable business and investment climate created in the country talked of Azerbaijani-Belgian trade and economic cooperation and noted measures taken to expand communications between businessmen.
Belgian Ambassador to Azerbaijan Michel Peetermans expressed his views on the expansion of interstate trade, investment and partnership strengthening, noting that similar measures would contribute to mutual cooperation.
The event included presentations on Azerbaijan's business and investment climate, the activities of the Azerbaijan Economic Zone Development Agency and discussions over expanding trade relations.
