Azerbaijani envoy: Non-Aligned Movement’s values very important in world

Permanent Representative of Azerbaijan to UNESCO, Elman Abdullayev, has said that the values of the Non-Aligned Movement (NAM) are very important in the world, and African countries play an important role there.

Abdullayev made the remarks at the conference entitled "Role of the African Continent in the Non-Aligned Movement" dedicated to Africa Day, according to Report.

“NAM can make a great contribution to solving the global problems of the African continent, including the education of girls. We are working on this issue within UNESCO,” he said.

“We hold a dialogue with Africa, new prospects for cooperation are being assessed, as Africa is a very dynamic continent,” Abdullayev added.
