The pipeline has delivered gas to several countries, including Greece, Bulgaria, Italy, Hungary, Romania, and Serbia, according to the State Oil Company of the Azerbaijan Republic (SOCAR), Report informs.
SOCAR highlighted that TAP's route and design provide flexibility for supplying gas to various destinations across South-Eastern, Central, and Western Europe in the future. In 2023 alone, Azerbaijani gas exports to Europe totaled 11.8 billion cubic meters.
Looking ahead, Azerbaijan and the European Union have set a target for Azerbaijani gas supplies to reach at least 20 billion cubic meters annually by 2027.
