Azerbaijani, Kyrgyz customs services eye to cooperate
Head of the Kyrgyz State Customs Service Samat Isabekov has said that the Azerbaijani and Kyrgyz customs services intend to cooperate.
Isabekov made these remarks at the Caspian Investment Forum in Bishkek, Kyrgyzstan, Report informs citing Kyrgyz media.
He noted the importance of the event for the development of the Kyrgyzstan-Azerbaijan economic relations and transit potential between the two countries.
Isabekov noted that Kyrgyzstan may become a link between Azerbaijan and China for the delivery of goods, thereby opening the way to Türkiye and European countries.
“We must simplify customs processes and thereby contribute to the development of international trade. These goals can be achieved by introducing automation and digitalisation of customs processes. We call on entrepreneurs of the two countries to develop trade relations and promise to support them,” he said.
