Azerbaijani minister: Entrepreneurs get over $40 million within loan interest subsidy mechanism

Azerbaijani Economy Minister Mikayil Jabbarov has tweeted that as of January 1, 2023, 71.9 million manats ($42.3 million) subsidy has been approved on applications submitted to the Entrepreneurship Development Fund, of which 68.5 million manats ($40.3 million) have already been paid to entrepreneurs.

The loan interest subsidy mechanism, applied within the framework of the support for entrepreneurs, ensures the economic activity and facilitates the implementation of various projects by business entities, Caliber.Az reports citing the minister’s message on Twitter.

As of January 1 of this year, 71.9 mln. ₼ subsidy has been approved on applications submitted to the Entrepreneurship Development Fund (@sahibkarliq), of which 68.5 mln. ₼ have already been paid to entrepreneurs.
