Azerbaijani, Polish officials discuss regional cooperation & climate change initiatives
Azerbaijani Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov discussed cooperation issues and the post-conflict situation in the region with Deputy State Secretary of the Polish Foreign Ministry Marek Prawda, Caliber.Az reports, citing the Azerbaijani Foreign Ministry.
Bayramov informed the Polish side about the work done and future plans under Azerbaijan's presidency at the 29th session of the Conference of the Parties to the UN Framework Convention on Climate Change (COP29). He highlighted additional opportunities for cooperation with Poland in combating climate change within COP29.
Consultations on the Azerbaijan-Poland strategic partnership followed, involving a delegation led by Azerbaijani Deputy Foreign Minister Fariz Rzayev and a delegation headed by Deputy State Secretary Marek Prawda. The discussions focused on cooperation between the two countries within regional and international organizations.
