Azerbaijani, Saudi Arabian ministers discuss ways to drive trade, investment growth PHOTO
Azerbaijani Economy Minister Mikayil Jabbarov and Saudi Arabian Minister of Investment Khalid Bin Abdulaziz Al-Falih have discussed ways to drive trade and investment growth.
“During our visit to Saudi Arabia, we met with Khalid Bin Abdulaziz Al-Falih, Saudi Arabia's Minister of Investment. We expressed our satisfaction with the comprehensive progress of bilateral relations and explored opportunities to diversify our economies in alignment with our countries' sustainable development goals. Additionally, we discussed ways to drive trade and investment growth,” Caliber.Az reports, citing Jabbarov’s message on X.
Earlier, the Azerbaijani parliament ratified the exemption of special passport holders from short-term visa for travel between Azerbaijan and Saudi Arabia.
The bill approving the "Memorandum of Understanding between the Government of the Republic of Azerbaijan and the Government of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia on the mutual exemption of holders of diplomatic, special, and service passports from short-term visa" was passed during a plenary session of parliament on November 29.
The memorandum was signed in New York on September 27, 2024.
