Azerbaijani schoolgirl wins bronze medal at Int'l Mendeleev Chemistry Olympiad

Azerbaijani schoolgirl Deniz Sattarli, who recently enrolled at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, has won a bronze medal at the International Mendeleev Chemistry Olympiad in Kazakhstan.

Azerbaijani Science and Education Minister Emin Amrullayev made the remarks on Twitter, according to Report.

“Our student Daniz Sattarli, who some time ago was admitted to the bachelor's degree in chemistry at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, US, won the bronze medal of the 57th International Mendeleev Olympiad held in Astana, Kazakhstan. Congratulations and good luck!”

The US embassy earlier congratulated Azerbaijani students Daniz Sattarli and Fidan Garayeva, who were enrolled at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
