Azerbaijani ships transport over 7 million tonnes of cargo in 9 months - ASCO

Azerbaijan Caspian Shipping Company CJSC (ASCO) has published cargo traffic figures for the period from January to October 2023.

For 10 months of this year, ASCO vessels transported a total of 7.7 million tonnes of cargo, said ASCO Spokesman Mehman Mehdiyev, Caliber.Az reports.

Tankers accounted for 4.3 million tonnes of cargoes, ferries - 2.8 million tonnes, universal dry cargoes - 600 tonnes.

Overall, compared to the same period of the previous year, cargo traffic grew by 21 per cent.
