Azerbaijani State Service of Special Communication and Information Security, CBA ink MoU PHOTO
A memorandum of understanding (MoU) was signed between the State Service of Special Communications and Information Security (SCIS) and the Central Bank of Azerbaijan (CBA).
According to Trend, the MoU aims to facilitate the exchange of information between SCIS and CBA regarding incidents, cyberattacks, and other targeted attempts to compromise the financial markets in the field of information security and cybersecurity related to their areas of operation and to enable the implementation of preventive measures.
Furthermore, the memorandum includes provisions for joint efforts to establish and accredit an industry-specific "CERT" (Computer Emergency Response Team) for financial markets (FinCERT).
The document was signed during the first-ever cyber festival "Cyberfest" in Azerbaijan as part of the "Year of Heydar Aliyev".
