Azerbaijani-Uzbek Investment Fund to strengthen economic cooperation Minister’s statement

Azerbaijani Economy Minister Mikayil Jabbarov has announced that as a result of the agreement between the heads of state of Azerbaijan and Uzbekistan, the Memorandum of Understanding has been signed between the Ministry of Economy of Azerbaijan and the Ministry of Investments and Foreign Trade of Uzbekistan on the establishment of the Azerbaijani-Uzbek Investment Fund.

“The document will contribute to the strengthening and expansion of the bilateral economic cooperation,” Caliber.Az reports citing Jabbarov’s message on Twitter.

“During the meeting with Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Investments and Foreign Trade of Uzbekistan Jamshid Khodjayev, we have touched upon the opportunities created by the friendship and multifaceted cooperation between our countries for the further development of the economic-trade relations, as well as the promotion of investments,” he tweeted.
