Baku and Washington plan to build data centres
Azerbaijan and the United States have expressed their intention to collaborate on the construction of new data centres, following a meeting between Azerbaijani Deputy Minister of Digital Development and Transport, Samaddin Asadov, and Carl Kress, Regional Director of the U.S. Agency for Trade and Development, who is currently visiting Baku.
The meeting highlighted the strategic partnership between Azerbaijan and the United States, which has continued to deepen in scope and content, Caliber.Az reports, citing the Azerbaijani Ministry of Digital Development and Transport.
During the talks, both sides exchanged views on potential cooperation in building data centres to support railway infrastructure, telecommunications, space technologies, and artificial intelligence.
