Baku, Ankara sign tourism cooperation protocol
Azerbaijan’s State Tourism Agency and Türkiye’s Ministry of Culture and Tourism have signed a protocol on tourism cooperation.
The agreement was signed in Antalya on April 2 during the fifth meeting of the Azerbaijani-Turkish Joint Working Group on Tourism, Caliber.Az reports, citing the agency.
The meeting addressed the development of mechanisms for cooperation between the public and private sectors, management of regional tourism and cultural heritage.
It also focused on the expansion of experience and information exchange in marketing and promotion, and the preparation of a joint 2026 action program.
Participants included representatives from the Azerbaijan Association of Travel Agencies and the Azerbaijan Hotels Association, alongside Türkiye’s Hotel Association (TÜROB) and the Turkish Travel Agencies Association (TÜRSAB).
