Baku, Berlin seek synergy in shipping industry

The Azerbaijan Caspian Shipping Company (ASCO) held a meeting with Nico Hans Siebert, Managing Director and Lawyer of the German company Unitron, as well as with a delegation from the German-Azerbaijani Chamber of Commerce.

During the meeting, ASCO representatives provided information about the company’s fleet, activities, and development plans, while also answering questions of interest from their counterparts, Caliber.Az reports, citing ASCO

“The sides also held extensive discussions on current trends in the shipping industry, including digitalisation and innovative solutions, ‘green’ technologies, and assessed prospects for cooperation in these areas,” the statement said.
