Baku, Bissau set to draft joint energy roadmap
Azerbaijan is set to develop a joint energy roadmap with the Republic of Guinea-Bissau, paving the way for enhanced bilateral cooperation in the energy sector.
Energy Minister of Azerbaijan Parviz Shahbazov announced the decision on his X account following a meeting with Viriato Luis Soares Cassama, Minister of Environment, Biodiversity and Climate Action of Guinea-Bissau, per Caliber.Az.
“At the meeting with Viriato Luis Soares Cassama, Minister of Environment, Biodiversity and Climate Action of the Republic of Guinea-Bissau, we discussed opportunities for cooperation in sharing Azerbaijan’s extensive experience in the fields of oil and gas, electricity, and energy regulation, as well as in capacity building,” Shahbazov posted.
“In this context, we agreed on the preparation of a roadmap, the organization of expert meetings, and the holding of seminars,” the Azerbaijani minister added.
