Baku Metro explores partnership with Chinese bank

Officials from Baku Metro have held discussions with China’s Exim Bank on financing, investment opportunities, and future collaboration.

The talks took place during an official visit to China by a delegation led by Baku Metro’s chairman, Vusal Aslanov, Caliber.Az reports via local media.

The delegation’s programme included a series of meetings in Beijing.

During a meeting with China Railway Signal & Communication (CRSC), one of the world’s leading manufacturers of railway signalling systems, the parties discussed the latest digital signalling technologies used in metro systems.

They also explored innovative solutions aimed at improving rail safety and reviewed successful projects previously delivered by CRSC.
