Baku, Minsk strengthen ties in culture, education, sport, youth policy
Baku and Minsk are set to deepen cooperation in the fields of culture, education, sport, and youth policy, following the 15th meeting of the Joint Intergovernmental Commission on Economic Cooperation between Azerbaijan and Belarus.
During the session, held in Baku, officials discussed the organisation of reciprocal cultural days and explored ways to enhance collaboration in cultural, educational, sporting, and youth initiatives, Caliber.Az reports per local media.
The meeting highlighted that initiatives such as mutual cultural days, youth forums, and the expansion of twin-city programmes play a significant role in strengthening humanitarian and social ties between the two countries.
The session was co-chaired by Azerbaijan’s Deputy Prime Minister and commission co-chair Samir Sharifov and Belarusian Deputy Prime Minister and co-chair Natalia Petkevich.
