Baku pitches investment opportunities to Turkish business leaders PHOTO
Azerbaijan has presented its investment opportunities to business representatives in several regions of Türkiye, as part of efforts to strengthen economic cooperation between the two countries.
Tamerlan Taghiyev, Azerbaijan’s Trade Representative in Türkiye, held business meetings with representatives of chambers of commerce and industry in the Turkish provinces of Antalya, Burdur and Isparta, as well as in Alanya, Caliber.Az reports, citing the Ministry of Economy.
According to Azerbaijan’s Ministry of Economy, local business leaders were briefed on the country’s favourable business and investment climate during the meetings.
Presentations outlined incentives, privileges and support mechanisms available to investors operating in Azerbaijan’s industrial parks, the Alat Free Economic Zone, and territories reclaimed following years of occupation.
Taghiyev invited Turkish entrepreneurs to take an active part in projects being implemented in Azerbaijan, particularly in the restored territories.
He encouraged them to make use of the investment support and incentive schemes offered by the Azerbaijani government.
The meetings also included discussions on potential areas of cooperation, with Azerbaijani officials answering questions from Turkish business representatives and exchanging views on future joint projects.
