Baku Port seeks stronger ties with Belgium to boost trade corridors PHOTO

Belgian Ambassador to Azerbaijan, Julien de Fraipont, held discussions with Eldar Salahov, Director General of the Baku International Sea Trade Port, on enhancing collaboration in the port sector.

The Belgian Embassy in Azerbaijan shared details of the meeting via its X account, Caliber.Az reports per local media.

“The parties explored opportunities to expand cooperation in the port sector, a key component in the development of trade corridors and transport infrastructure connecting our regions,” the statement said.

The meeting was also attended by Sarah Van Buggenhout, Deputy Head of Mission and Consul of the Belgian Embassy in Azerbaijan.
