Baku selects investors for agricultural projects in liberated territories
Azerbaijan has announced the winners of the third investment competition for the leasing of agricultural land to private entrepreneurs in the country's liberated territories, as authorities continue efforts to promote investment and agricultural development in the region.
According to the Ministry of Agriculture, the land leasing process is being carried out under regulations approved by a presidential decree issued on November 27, 2024, Caliber.Az reports per local media.
The third investment competition, launched on April 30, concluded its application period on June 15, attracting strong interest from the business community. A total of 193 entrepreneurs and companies submitted applications to participate.
The Ministry said the Third Investment Commission approved the final list of participants and successful bidders on July 14.
Applicants have been informed of the results via SMS, while notifications to the winners are continuing on a phased basis.
