Baku, Tashkent to cooperate in transport

The Uzbekistan-based Tashkent State Technical University named after Islam Karimov (TSTU) will collaborate with Azerbaijan in the fields of aviation, automotive, and railway transport.

The university also plans to work with Azerbaijan on training engineering personnel for locomotive and railcar operations, as well as developing unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) technologies, Caliber.Az reports, citing Uzbek media.

“Relevant memorandums and agreements were signed during TSTU’s delegation visit to Baku,” the Ministry of Transport of the Republic of Uzbekistan said.
