Baku-Tbilisi-Ceyhan oil exports surpass 47 million barrels in first quarter

A total of 47.354 million barrels of oil were transported via the Baku–Tbilisi–Ceyhan (BTC) pipeline through Türkiye in January–March this year, according to data from Turkish state company BOTAŞ, the operator of the Turkish section of the pipeline.

In the same period of 2025, 52.243 million barrels were transported through BTC. This means that in January–March 2026, volumes decreased by 9.4%, Caliber.Az reports via local media.

In March alone, 16.412 million barrels were transported via the pipeline, representing an 11.9% decline compared to March of the previous year.

In 2025, total oil transport through the pipeline amounted to 206.43 million barrels.
