Baku–Tbilisi–Ceyhan oil pipeline exports rise 13% in March, OPEC data shows
13 May 2026 16:50
Daily oil exports through the Baku–Tbilisi–Ceyhan (BTC) pipeline increased to 588,000 barrels in March, according to monthly data cited from OPEC.
The figure marks a 13% rise, or about 70,000 barrels per day, compared with February, Caliber.Az reports per local media.
Despite the month-on-month increase, total volumes transported via the BTC pipeline in March remained broadly in line with levels recorded in the same month last year, the data showed.
The BTC pipeline, which carries crude from the Caspian region to the Mediterranean port of Ceyhan in Türkiye, remains a key export route for regional oil producers.
