Baku to host 12th ministerial meeting of Southern Gas Corridor Advisory Council

Baku will host the 12th ministerial meeting of the Southern Gas Corridor (SGC) Advisory Council, alongside the 4th ministerial session of the Green Energy Advisory Council.

According to Report, the event on March 3 will bring together ministers, deputy ministers, and other senior officials from 27 countries, including Azerbaijan and EU member states, along with representatives from 11 international financial institutions and 49 energy companies.

Following the opening session, the meeting will continue with a ministerial session and plenary discussions on “Southern Gas Corridor: Sustainable Success and a New Stage of Development” and “Green Energy Projects.”

An Investment Roundtable will also be held to discuss coordination between Azerbaijan and the European Union on green energy initiatives. The event will conclude with a press conference summarising the meetings.

Ministerial meetings of the Southern Gas Corridor Advisory Council have been held since February 2015.
