Baku to host Azerbaijan–Italy business forum

The Azerbaijan Export and Investment Promotion Agency (AZPROMO) and the Italian Trade Agency (ITA) held talks in Baku aimed at strengthening bilateral economic cooperation, the Azerbaijani agency said.

During the meeting, the two sides identified potential areas of cooperation with Italian institutions and discussed investment opportunities in Azerbaijan, including in the Alat Free Economic Zone, Caliber.Az reports.

The parties also exchanged views on organising an Azerbaijan–Italy Business Forum, which is scheduled to take place in Baku in 2026.

In addition, they discussed plans to sign a memorandum of understanding and an action plan between AZPROMO and ITA within the framework of the forum.
