Baku welcomes UK trade envoy to boost business, energy cooperation PHOTO

Azerbaijan welcomed Lord John Alderdice, the United Kingdom’s Trade Envoy to Azerbaijan and Central Asia, for talks on expanding bilateral economic cooperation.

Mikayil Jabbarov, Minister of Economy of the Republic of Azerbaijan, highlighted the significance of the meeting in a post on X, saying that they were pleased to welcome Lord John Alderdice to Azerbaijan.

"We discussed the priority directions of the economic cooperation agenda with the United Kingdom, including strengthening business, investment, and trade partnerships, as well as opportunities to advance joint activities in energy, high technologies, and digital transformation,” he wrote.
