Bilateral trade between Azerbaijan and China exceeds $4.2 billion
Trade between Azerbaijan and China continued to expand in January–November 2025, with bilateral turnover reaching $4.213 billion, a 24% increase compared with the same period a year earlier.
According to Caliber.Az, the data were released by Azerbaijan’s State Customs Committee.
The statistics show a sharp rise in Azerbaijani exports to China during the first 11 months of 2025.
Export volumes increased 4.8-fold year on year, amounting to $84.044 million. As a result, exports accounted for 0.36% of Azerbaijan’s total exports, up from 0.07% in January–November 2024.
Imports from China also recorded solid growth. Their value rose by 22.2% to $4.129 billion, with Chinese goods representing 19.49% of Azerbaijan’s total imports during the period, compared with 18.01% in the corresponding months of 2024.
