Bosnia and Herzegovina to host conference to commemorate Khojaly genocide
Sarajevo, capital of Bosnia and Herzegovina, will host an international conference to commemorate the 31st anniversary of the genocide committed by Armenian armed formations in the Azerbaijani town of Khojaly in Karabakh.
According to Report, the event, scheduled for February 23, will be attended by MPs from Azerbaijan, Bosnia and Herzegovina, representatives of the government of that country, the diplomatic corps accredited in the country, NGOs, media and youth organizations.
Reports will be presented at the international conference to bring the Azerbaijani realities, information on Khojaly genocide committed by Armenian armed forces against Azerbaijani population, documents and materials on the tragedy once again to the world community.
After the conference in "Friendship Park", which was fundamentally repaired at the initiative of Heydar Aliyev Foundation and financial support of the Azerbaijani state, participants will visit the memorial complex for victims of Khojaly genocide, lay wreath to the monument and pay tribute to the victims of the tragedy.
