bp CEO introduces new regional head to Azerbaijani PM

Azerbaijani Prime Minister Ali Asadov and bp CEO Murray Auchincloss reaffirmed their commitment to strengthening the long-term energy partnership on June 19.

The meeting, which highlighted bp’s vital role in the country’s energy sector, also marked a key leadership transition with the introduction of Giovanni Cristofoli as BP’s new Regional President for Azerbaijan, Georgia, and Türkiye, Caliber.Az reports via local media.

The importance of bp’s projects in Azerbaijan was emphasised, and prospective projects on the current agenda were discussed.

The meeting also addressed prospects for cooperation between SOCAR and bp, along with other issues of mutual interest.
