Chairman: Azerbaijan Caspian Shipping Company successfully cooperates with US

Chairman of Azerbaijan Caspian Shipping Company Rauf Valiyev has met with Head of the Baku office of the American Bureau of Shipping Ryan Salamati in connection with the completion of the term of his five-year activity in the country.

The cooperation between the sides was highly appreciated at the meeting, Report informs citing the company.

Valiyev noted that the company attaches importance to the activity of fleets, coastal enterprises and organisations in accordance with international standards and the training of specialists.

He noted that the company successfully cooperates with the US in these spheres, which will continue in the future.

Salamati has been actively involved in regular audits of the company's compliance with the requirements of the International Maritime Organisation, conducting compliance audits and issuing the certificates of the International Organisation for Standardisation (ISO) and International Safety Management Certification (ISM).
