Chairman of Azerbaijan Railways CJSC meets with his Russian counterpart in Moscow

In the capital of the Russian Federation, Moscow, a meeting was held between the chairman of Azerbaijan Railways CJSC Rovshan Rustamov and the general director of Russian Railways OJSC Oleg Belozerov.

According to Caliber.Az, the meeting discussed the prospects for developing cooperation between the two countries in the field of transit cargo transportation, in particular, a plan for joint activities along the North-South route.

During the meeting, a wide exchange of views took place on the competitiveness of this route and the attraction of additional volumes of cargo here.

Among other things, a plan of proposals related to the optimization of transit time, the electronicization of document flow and the synchronization of operations along routes between the two countries was discussed in detail.
