Chinese companies seek to expand economic cooperation with Azerbaijan

Tural Hajili, Deputy Executive Director of Azerbaijan Export and Investment Promotion Agency (AZPROMO), has met with He Zhengwei, President of the China Association for Overseas Development, to discuss Chinese companies’ plans to expand economic cooperation.

During the meeting in Baku, Hajili presented information on the agency’s activities and the outcomes of the 1st Azerbaijan International Investment Forum, Caliber.Az reports, citing AZPROMO. 

The Chinese side praised the high level of organisation of the forum and expressed its intention to participate in future initiatives with a larger delegation. 

The discussion also focused on further expanding bilateral economic cooperation, exploring prospects for establishing business relations with the association and its member companies, and proposals were put forward to define the legal framework for cooperation between the institutions.
